XF 2.1 How to disable email notifications for private messages / conversations - Xenforo 2.1.5

We frequently send private messages to all members of the forum.

I would like to disable the email notifications that accompany every private message that is sent to to every member every time we send a mass private message.

Is there a setting for this or do i need custom development to make this happen?
