How to create new thread from reply ?

Hi all,
I am running into this problem of users posting a reply into an existing thread, which is actually not related to the thread, but a new question whatsoever.

Example:
Thread is about topic A
. question about A
. somebody answers about A
. somebody else replies to this thread but asks about B

Is there a way that I can "move" the unrelated reply and create a new thread from it?

Yep, if you're an administrator or a moderator:

• Hover your mouse over the post you want to move.
• A checkbox will appear below their signature - click it.
• In the Other Action... drop down select "Move"
• Then give the new thread a name and click Move Posts.
