XF 2.1 How to create a poll

Long thread but no answers.
My users don't have an option to set up a Poll. I don't see a permission to allow users to set up a poll either. When I search for Poll in the ACP this is all I find.
I don't get an option to make a poll when I post.
As a Super Mod I see these options. A Register Users only see Edit Thread.

First, be sure the forum (node) that you're trying to start a poll in is set up to allow polls.
ACP > Forums > Nodes Then click the forum (node) that you want to edit. Under "Allowed thread types" confirm the box for "Polls" is checked.
Now go to that forum (node) and start a new thread. You should now see a "Poll" tab at the top left of the message box. Click the tab and then below the message box you can type the poll question and possible responses, along with some other options.

Is there a way to get a POST A POLL button that functions just like POST A THREAD and appears right beside that button on all pertinent screens?
I have members asking me how to post a poll as well and a NEW POLL button would solve all that.

Once you have it set in nodes, to create a poll as admin in a thread, make a first post - then click on the 3 dots on the right next to unwatch. "Create poll" is in the menu. (1st screenshot). Then this window opens (2nd screenshot). "Question" is just whatever you want the title or instructions to be about for the poll. Eg I use it for competition voting so under question I have "Vote for the entry you like the most - you have 2 votes (or 1 vote or 3 votes - up to you to set how many).
Under possible responses - your list of whatever your poll is - either various options - or in the case of a competition, the list of the various entrants names or post titles eg. Once you type the first response, another line appears for the second response and so on.
Since XF 2.3 I find that breaks up after a few responses, part way down, unless I go full screen on computer - then I can fill in the rest.
To start one this way, it does need a first post in the thread though.

Yeah, I had to do that for a member today because he could not find how to make a poll so I end up attaching them, hence why a button would be nice.
I had an old forum that had a NEW POLL button and we had lots of polls every day but on XENFORO its kind of hidden and creation of polls is weak where participation is freat once the polls are made.
