How to change the colors in the emails?

I have noticed that the emails going out to members if they are following a thread doesn't change just because you change the xenforo style.. How do I change the colors in the emails?

You need to edit the e-mail templates!

All the colours in the mails are hardcoded

I've also just discovered the sheer nightmare of hard coded colors in emails. Oh well.... here I go.

Note that changes to the email templates are overwritten when you upgrade. There is no template system for emails that saves your changes independent of the master templates.

Oh boy.... with 1.2 pending I won't bother. Maybe this will get addressed in the future.

I think the system has changed since 1.1 however the following plug-in makes that chore super easy.
