XF 1.2 How to change super admin username

Hey guys,

I am trying to secure my xenforo forum so no hackers can get to it. Does anyone know how to change my ssuper admin username? It's to plain.

Also, any advice?

How to change it? The same as any other user -> edit it through the ACP.

On a related topic... if you have al limited amount of users, and say your admin ID is currently 3 (or 5 or whatever) and you wanted to assign it to something like 1984 or another number, would you only need to edit it in the xf_user user_id? Or would there be other areas that it would need to be changed in?

I wouldn't recommend manually changing the user ID in the database.

Rather you should use the merge user function in 1.2, ensuring you choose the correct target to merge into.

Be aware that you will need to demote the user from administrator first before doing so.

I was afraid that would be the process. I wanted to give it an ungodly high number that would be less likely to be "guessed". Well, that can be done later I guess.
