XF 2.1 How to change max file size

I'm trying to upload an image file to a post that's only 1.35 MBs. My server's upload_max_filesize is set to 256 MBs and its post_max_size is set to 512 MBs. The server has plenty of memory and storage space. So is there a setting in Xenforo itself that limits users to a certain file size for attachments?

Check, ACP > Setup > Options > Attachments

sorry to resurrect this, but I have same issue, but mine says server config limited to. Is that set by xen, as the hosting server for my boards are unlimited?

It is set in PHP - you need to increase the value there.

Check the limits on the ACP index page.
