XF 2.0 how to add new link in navigation bar

i want to add a link in the navigation bar, i have searched . its for 1.5 .
can anyone help me with xenforo 2.

I did that but is not working, its taking the main website domain in its starting by default.

Like suppose my website is www.xyz.com

I want to add www.abc.com , I added www.abc.com and saved .

When I click on the link in navigation, it's showing www.xyz.com/www.abc.com/

What to do ?

You must specify the full URL.
For example https://www.abc.com or http://www.abc.com.
Only www.abc.com does not work.

Please enter a value using only a-z, A-Z, 0-9, and _ characters.
Can I buy a vowel?

Would be nice if you put the answer here so some of us can see it.
Im running into the same problem. Why with a program as complex as Xenforo are we having to find out how to simply link a URL from the navbar. This the kind of stuff that really annoys me about the software. SIMPLE things are always so complicated. I dont know what is more BASIC than an external URL.

It's not clear what issues you are having.

Adding a new nav link with an external URL has been demonstrated in this very thread a few posts up.

I FINALLY figured it out. My system wasnt allowing me to put in a normal link for some reason . We fixed it! Btw thanks for the quick response

There isn't anything to fix.

Just add a standard URL like so:

Its openeing the link in the same window

I am trying to do the same think but want it to be a drop down menu for forum rules. I've seen others have forum rules there - could anyone help me set it up? How do I actually attach forum rules to it and where do I type them?

I realise you need to put a link in the new navigation tab but unsure how to create a link just for forum rules.
