XF 1.3 How does XF handle paypal refunds, cancellations, etc?

As my site gets a decent amount of paypal subscriptions, there are always a number of disputes in my account. (related cards or bank accounts without enough funds or people forgetting they created a recurring subscription) Some of those payments will be cancelled.
Does XF retract related the account upgrades?

Yes, they will be downgraded when PayPal notifies us of refund or a reversal.

That will be a major relieve once I migrate my site. (my current subscription / donation system doesn't)
