XF 2.2 How do you implement multilingual forums?

With user's choice of language, maybe making use of a custom user field, a forum of chosen nodes and language is displayed.

But many nodes are to be shared by all languages, how do you change the title to other languages? This seems cannot be done with phrase translation...

For example, how can you change the node title "XenForo questions and support" to French upon changing of language preference?

Node titles aren't phrased so can't be translated for each language.

I know I can make distinct nodes for different languages for the same kind of topic. But then the contents will also be separated. Users of different language won't be able to share the same node contents.

So how is a bilingual forum implemented?

I use the built in translate function in the browser.

I gave up the idea of having a bilingual forum. It's complicated.

So how is a bilingual forum implemented?

It is not. XenForo does not offer muli lingual support. It only has language packs for part of the interface.
