XF 1.2 How do I stop an out of control batch thread update from running?

It apparently was called on too many threads, and after any subsequent batch thread update I do, it goes nuts, attempting again and again, for tens of thousands of threads. As far as I can tell, it never actually does anything, but refresh the page over and over. Other small tasks like moving forums one by one works... but then it just starts its process over and over.

The "cancel" button turns into "cancelling" when clicked, once in awhile, but nothing ever happens and it continues its mission... seemingly oblivious to the fact that it has been doing it for hours now, and nothing has been changed.

Cancel should work - it will take until the next "refresh" to pick it up. Submit a ticket with admin CP and FTP details and we can take a look.

Sometimes I wonder if I am describing the batch update problem or myself.. lol I will submit a ticket shortly. Thank you, Mike.
