How do I get QuoteSelected working?

So in a thread, if you highlight some text, a popup will appear which will allow you to quote the selected text.

In my XenPorta2, this feature is not working in the comments:

It works in the opening article post... but not in the comments.

Anyone got an ideas of what is wrong?

I figured it out... apparently the QuoteSelected function requires a post to be within a "message" div... it wont work with "messageSimple".
