XF 2.0 How do I disable signatures for everyone?

SMF had a global toggle for this, we just moved to Xenforo and I'd like to disable them again.

It's a user group permission, "Edit signature" Set that to No for the Registered user group (and all other user groups if no-one is to use them).

Thanks, I did exactly that and then batch removed the signatures.

No.
I just use a mysql-query to empty all spam-fields,
disallow profile fields with "[cXF] Remove Location, Website and About"
disallow signatures
added "moderate new users" from AndyB with (0 threads, 1post)

add a new group "real users" with the need of x posts and x days in the forum to be promoted to "real users"

A query isn't required to remove existing signatures.

Just use the built in batch update users function.

Thank you. I have searched and seen this before, but i want to get rid of the SPAM, not only hide it on some place.
