XF 2.0 How do I change logo and favicon full URLs to relative URLs in the root directory?

Currently, the logo and favicon URLs are full URLs that lead to an offsite path (they're hosted elsewhere), which means that a TLS handshake must be performed every time I log on. However, I want these to have an URL in the XF root, if possible. How would I go about doing this? Do I have to download them, somehow change the address and then re-upload to the root directory? Must I re-adjust the size again? Please walk me through this.

Can the URLs be changed in the ACP?

The favicon just needs to be uploaded to the domain root - it isn't necessary to define it anywhere.

The logo image can be uploaded to the server and the path changed in style properties - enter logo url in the ACP search to locate the setting.

Can it be uploaded anywhere in the server or should it be uploaded to the styles folder?

I take it the favicon has to be converted to an .ico file?

It can be anywhere - most people have it in the styles directory but not named the same as the default logo, to prevent it being overwritten on upgrades.
