Hello,
I have tried xenforo 2.3.4 (upgrdaded from xenforo 2.2.17) on my test site and the I could not edit template.
I tried with the new installation but the same thing happened.

What I saw is as in my attachment.

I also set user permission as in my attachment.

Could you tell me where is the setting that I can change to edit templates?

Thank you.

I tried with the new installation but the same thing happened.
First, disable all add ons and see if things change. Then, enable them one by one to see which one might have a conflict by revisiting the template page. Unless, it's still like that with all add ons disabled.

Then, on a new installation, try rebuilding the master data by going to /install and login as the admin then rebuild the master data as it rebuilds the templates/phrases.

Thank you for your help. I have no addon with the new installation and I have tried rebuilt the master data but nothing has been changed. By the ways, my server is with php 7.4. Does php version cause this problem?

Try another browser (Firefox).

Most likely an issue with Google Chrome. It's happened before to another user here in the past.

Thanks for your information,
I have change to safari from
Ipad but the same result
I think I've seen ad blocker cause this in the past potentially. May want to disable that on your site if you have one installed.

Hello Russ
I did not install any ad blocker.
I will try to creat a new account on my server and try with the new installation to see if ti works or not.

P.s : I am still using your cuútomized styles.

This could be an issue as I was running PHP 8.3 (which showed as the "recommended version" in the ACP) for XF 2.2.8 PL 2 which was recommended to run on 8.0 in the announcement.

I have tried xenforo 2.3.4
While XF 2.3.4 has a minimum stated requirement of 7.2, you might've found an error in that. It's recommended to be run on PHP 8.3.

Announcement: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-2-3-4-add-ons-released.226470/

If you have a control panel where you can easily swap what PHP version you're running, try swapping to PHP 8.3 and see if it persists.

I tried to install it now on php 8.03 and i got 500 error. However, if I Switch my server php to 7.4 the installation starts.
The newest php on my server is 8.03. Should I ugraded my it to php 8.3 ?

Thanks for your help. This is on my test site. However, I have tried with new installation on a new account with php8.2 but am getting 500 errors.
Yeah I would put that in the ticket too. You have support outside the forum.

Sometimes they'll get answered first, as priority is probably given to tickets over threads.
