XF 1.5 How can I change the URL of a forum link on node_list?

Sort of an odd question, I know.

I need to keep the node type forum but I'd like to change the URL of the node_list link without using a redirect. I think there might be a way to use template edits and <xen:if> to select the nodes I'd like to change the links for, I just don't know how.
