Hosts Not to Consider

I'm starting this thread for people to list hosts that they've had to abandon because they aren't compatible with XenForo. This will hopefully save us all time and money when looking for new hosts.

    Mine: InMotion Hosting.

They think XenForo uses too many resources on the server side and don't want it on their servers. See my thread here: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/delayed-insert.13026/

They told us to take our business elsewhere if we want to use XenForo.

Please keep this thread XenForo specific when posting hosts that are not compatible.

Seriously?? My XF uses less resources than vB ever did.
Odd that they would take such a stance.

It's to do with delayed inserts, rather than resources.

If you guys all opt for a virtual private server and have reasonable bandwidth (and disk space) then any reasonable host wont care about delayed inserts, number of emails sent or anything else (petty imo).

I would strongly recommend nimbus hosting - they specialise in hosting xenForo and vB.
Several people here use them including very small boards and mahooosive boards such as avforums and I know everyone will sing their praises to the highest.

They're the best host I have used ever and believe me, in 12 years I've blasted through the best and the worst of them :)

I recommend 000webhost (free) and iPage (paid).

They don't know much do they?

That's their fault, in cPanel they can lower the maximum emails sent per hour which myself have set for my clients is 250.

In your experience with Nimbus, what plan do you have with them? Where are you located?
