Hi, I recently bought Xenforo and have gone through and installed it onto my site, however I am unable to get the homepage when I go to mysite.com. I can only access the extension where I installed it(so, since the folder I have it installed in is called 'xenforo' I can only access the site through mysite.com/xenforo, and even then it just shows the forums) I was wondering if there's a way to fix this. Thanks.

I read that it's recommended to install XF in the root of your domain.

I don't know what you mean by

I tried moving the files to my root and it messed the site up.

The URL in your customer account is not up to date so I am unable to check and help.

If you want the forum to load at the main domain URL, simply install it in the root.
If you have already installed in a folder, just drag the files to the root and update the Board URL in the ACP.
