Thanks but I am already doing that. I was wanting to hide them all together as I keep finding myself reviewing addons for XF1 when I moved on to XF2...

There's not really a way to hide them globally. If you encounter them during searches you can narrow those by category as well: https://xenforo.com/community/search/?type=resource
