No I don't have an ETA , it's an as I go thing...

What I could use is someone to go through and search up and find the links to a few different media types (song, album, software, ect) to make sure I don't miss any. I need them to test as I am building.

BTW, how are you getting the info from Apple? Also, are you planning to doing the same way toucharcade has it where the user just puts in the link to the appstore?

Thanks for the participation and effort...it is noted.
I got audiobooks covered and shortfilms are under feature films / movies for the most part it appears...

I now also have all of the possible outputs covered as far as processing them goes and that is done...one more step and the backend stuff is done for this and it will be on to design.

I am planning my own layout for the output of the bbcode which looks quite different than the example but does essentially the same thing...
 
Great to hear the progress!

Maybe I can help out with the design since I know a little html/css. Is it going to harder do the layout since your trying to accomodate for all these different media types?

If so maybe you can send me what you have once you get the backend ready and I can try to go forward with design myself since I'll only need it for "software".
 
Thanks for the offer but as you suspected it is not that simple....some of the css is written with php since it is dynamic.

Unfortunately, only needing one of the types doesn't make it that much easier, in fact you have to make the script do something if it is not software so that it only outputs software results, so in dropping some tasks (that have to be done anyways) you have to add another (one which I would not be doing at all).

I am making the styling so it is very easy to modify and sections will be fairly easy to identify so once done you will have no problem customizing this for your needs.
 
and yes to answer your question from before....it will automatically turn app store urls to the apple product embed
