XF 1.5 Help! Unexpected Error

We migrated server today and 3/4 of my members can see and use the forum absolutely fine. The rest are seeing this error:

"A server error occurred please try again later" - the shell of the xenforo can be seen - like its obviously the forum - just no posts and they can't log in.

I don't understand why this is only happening for about a 1/4 of people or what it is? The server people say it is not a server issue it is a website issue.

I am seeing the server error when I visit your site as a guest.

There should be ACP entries related to it.
Click on one of them and post the contents (remove any sensitive details first).

I don't actually know what I am looking for - I have screen shot all the server errors for today (blanking out what I assume to be the sensitive information)

I went to the site as a guest and it looked fine - let me log in fine - same with most of our users. Just some of them are getting the server error thing.

The errors are related to the third party social groups add-on.

You can try enabling it, if it is disabled, which may help.
I doubt it though as the table appears to be missing completely.

You will have to contact the author/post in the resource thread for support and an actual solution though.

This is the issue I was discussing earlier when I was asking about a xenforo - xenforo import. The social groups thing is making all kinds of issues and I have no idea how to get rid of it since according to my plugins panel it actually isn't even there.

Does anyone know of any possible reason why MOST people can reach my site and log in just fine but certain people are getting the homepage but with a message "server error occurred please try again later"?

Brogan said he got that error when he visited the site as a guest and I assumed it was all guests - but I have had dozens of guests browsing the site today and I have logged in on 3 different IPs and computers myself as a guest and all has been fine.

I have a user in Texas and two users in Michigan that I know of who just get this error - and they have cleared cache, cookies everything.

Is there anything that would prevent just certain IP addresses? I don't even know what to think anymore but I have no idea how to fix it - can anyone hypothesise?

I dealt with the plugin - so its not that (thought thank you for your advice on that)

I can't understand how most people can access the site from all over the world - but a handful get a server error - plus there has been no server error logs in ACP at all other than about the plugin, which was dealt with. If it was the plugin shouldn't it affect everyone and not just these few?

Are there any new error log entries?

There should be at least one, caused by me just visiting your site.

Last error logged was 4 hours ago before the addon was finally uninstalled - none since then

In that case contact your host and ask them to check the server error log.

There may be something there which can help to pinpoint the problem.

Working on getting the proper error logs - atm just got a screenshot that chops off the end (see attached) it looks to me (I am pure guessing) like it is the IPs that are keeping people out? Brogan - Snog (plugin developer) tried to go to the site and got on just fine. It is only happening to some people.

I will get the proper error logs but probably not til tomorrow - the guy with the access is unwell. Just wondered if a cursory look at the screen shot would reveal anything.

Also - tried to make an account an admin just now and while it all saved fine and shows up as an admin, they can't actually get into the admin panel (all the existing admins can) any ideas on that too?

I am beginning to really panic that my forum is doomed

Hate to butt into this thread, but if you can copy the actual errors shown in the screenshot so someone can see what files don't exist, it might be helpful.

I absolutely will as soon as I have them - sorry the screenshot wasn't so helpful missing half the information huh. I will stop bothering people until I have the actual logs to paste. I can't get on the cpanel right now but as soon as I can I will copy the errors.

So my problem with some people not being able to get on the site is unlikely to be this?

Those errors aren't involved.

Have you tried disabling all add-ons to see if that changes anything?
