Has there been any work done on the Importer tool?

I'm a previous customer and would like to import my old forums from IPB, but last I tried in June 2025, it had error issues. Has there been any attempt to upgrade the current Importer 1.6.1 version?

Is there a 'can/can't do' for the importer tool?

I have a vBulletin 3.7.1 forum, which also uses vBSEO, plus a few mods. I am prepared to get the mods re-written if necessary, but can the importer tool handle vB3.7.1 and vBSEO while preserving all forum and thread URLs?

There's no social groups built in, so you'll lose that for sure. There's paid addons, but you'd have to check with each dev to see if there's a way to import vB's social groups data to it if you wish to keep it.
