And yes, I don't understand what drama around X you're talking about at all. The platform is growing and evolving, there are plenty of opinions from all sides, political battles and content for all tastes (including 18+). X doesn't create a bubble for liberals or conservatives like bluesky does, where you get stoned if you put a US flag on your avatar.
Completely agree with you. Several users on BlueSky commented on the news of that Tesla Cybertruck explosion in front of a Trump hotel. Comments like “Trump should have been inside that truck… together with Elon…”
BlueSky users loves to make these type of comments, but once the right wing makes a comment about whatever is on the left, you either get banned or they want to “cancel” you because you’ve a different opinion. That’s why, to me, BlueSky is just the far-left community while on X, you can find all communities. And yeah, X definitely has more far-right users, but you won’t get banned for showing another opinion.
Now, for sure Mr. Lucky will show up again with a comment “what’s a far-left?”, as he did with a similar comment of mine in another thread, but I think it’s great we’ve two social community apps, so you can pick which one you feel most comfortable with.
To me, BlueSky is more like a Disney app, everything needs to be inclusive, diverse, while X is more like.. a Wild West, which I’m comfortable with. Someone else may not, so they can be on BlueSky.
And if you really want to try something new, we’ve the XenForo Community with tons of drama shows ha-ha
