XF 2.0 GZIP compression, Defer Parsing of Javascript

I know there are some old threads here about this, but I wasn't sure the state of things now. Any recommendation on whether or not I should do these things? Is there a guide to best practices? (or hopefully the code). I am using Apache on CentOS (WHM)

There shouldn't be anything that you need to do in 2.0. Gzip compression is on by default and almost all of the JS is deferred as is.
