Lack of interest Guest Page Caching statistics

It would be nice if some statistics for guest page caching were recorded and available for display in ACP - even if as simple as just total hits and misses.

Right now this is kind of a complete blackbox :)

Maybe you could also inject cache status into the HTML, this would allow board owners to easily track this via Analytics custom dimensions.

Only if it hooks into some existing Redis or Memcached reporting. Storing such data in the database for high traffic forums could be a performance nightmare.
 
Even if it's logged in the DB, it most likely would not cause much more overhead than currently without cache - thread views accounting already causes DB writes and usually thread views is the vast majority of guest traffic.
