XF 2.2 guest message has no image even though i added one

pic for reference. i will state i have absolutely ZERO web design skill or experience. i am getting the hang of it rather quickly but i am stumped at this one.
this issue persists across the entire forum, i cannot add a pic to the background or anywhere that has an option to insert an image.|
is it some kind of path issue? i see things like /data/image34w4563456.png
im not sure where the folder is supposed to be or how to set the path if that is the issue/

im using 2.2.10
any assistance and i would be so grateful. i dont understand the issue.

Can you clarify how you are doing this.

Is it a function of a third party style, are you using the extra.less template, something else?

If you are referencing content in the /data directory, is it for content which has been added to a post, the gallery, etc?

im using the admin cpanel. i bought the template from xenofocus and i put it in styles

You will need to contact the style author for assistance - that is not a native function.
