XF 1.5 Groups 101

I was wounder if there was any information and examples of Groups. I know how to add one from the Admin control panel. but that is it.

how about settings?
how to access the group after it is added?
samples of a group?
how to use Groups?
how to incorporate it into your existing forum?
Screenshots?
etc.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to user groups? In which case, their primary purpose is permission control, but they have a few other functions: https://xenforo.com/help/user-groups/
