I'm looking to add pronouns to my forum, and I think Custom User Fields is what I'm looking for.
My idea was to add the pronouns as a custom field using the drop down option, then create groups for each pronoun. Finally it would use those groups to show pronouns on banners for the user. Then using group promotion I would be able to assign the groups to the user.
But after looking through the settings for group promotion, I'm no longer so sure.
From the looks of it, you can promote users (aka assign them another group) but you can't demote (remove a group from a user) if they don't match criteria. Am I missing something?
It might just be an option I overlooked or a misunderstanding while setting it up, but I thought I'd ask before over complicating things.
