Google Crawl Errors for private member profiles and private albums

Hi,

I have lot's of 403 errors related to private member profiles and private albums.
I have moved recently to XF and I afraid I can be penalized because of this.

What is your advice? Let it stay of just disallow this via robots.txt?

My robots.txt it's identical to the one Xenforo uses.

You will not get penalised for some 403 pages.

Most of the "errors" in GWT are simply warnings. They can be safely ignored.

@Chris D is there a way to disallow private albums and private profiles?

You can set the default album privacy and then prevent changing privacy with user/group permissions.

There isn't anything similar for user profiles.

It would be a nice addition if are links no longer displayed for guests at the profiles left when Guests can not see this.
Bots would spend the 403 no longer.
