Going to use XenForo as a CRM

I'm starting a very niched down marketing agency.

I was looking for CRM solutions and would rather self-host one.

I thought why not use XF for this. With permissions, it would be very possible.

Have any of you used XenForo as a CRM?

I did on one project. At one point ran into performance issue with adding too many user segment (groups) but otherwise was quite good and that was XF1

We are doing this with client's notes (with an add-on we built for this purpose), but I would advise against this for sales and overall user management. You will be better off by using Pipedrive or even Clickup/Monday
