XF 2.3 Give user permission to edit another users post?

My forum has a long running historical info thread that someone else started. They'd like to change the title every day to reflect something new posted. If they were OP, they could.

Is there some way I could give this user power to do that short of making him a moderator? I looked through every single user permission setting and couldn't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by "actually" but you give the Moderator permissions here and they do not need to be in the Moderating group.
What I mean is you don't make them a moderator, but you give them moderator permission

The title of this thread is a bit misleading as it says edit post, but it really seems to mean edit thread.

You would give the user permission to manage threads in the forum moderator permissions (they do not not need to be a moderator to have that ticked).Screenshot 2025-06-14 at 12.57.32.webp

That permission is quite broad though, it allows moving of threads among other things). Xon'd addon User Essentials has a permission for just editing threads.
