Getting Memcached Operational

Hello folks,

Could use some help getting Memcached operational on my server/XF site. So far the support folks at my host have installed:

• Memcached
• yum list installed (ea-libmemcached.x86_64, libmemcached.x86_64, libmemcached-devel.x86_64)

My understanding is I need to add some code somewhere in the XF templates to get Memcached operational. I know there are some threads here at xenforo.com that explain some of this...but after reviewing them I'm not 100% sure of the procedure.

Can some kind person or persons guide me through what needs to done please:

• What code needs to be added.
• What XF template the code needs to be added to.
• Where in the template(s) the code needs to be placed.
• Any additional items.
