I played with all styles but can't see grey background and black navbar...

It’s currently not selectable by members or guests as it’s not ready yet. Just for me to play around with in the background for now.

That's better. What about having only the icons to show and once you move the cursor on them the whole menu to come up?

I'll see how that looks sometime down the line but currently, it looks good as it is.

There's just not much news being written so it would look inactive every time users visit, so went against it. Also, unfortunately, XenForo doesn't create small dimensions for attachments so even though the article cover on that news page looks small (thanks to css) it's actually pulling the original full dimension image so having that page as the default homepage will load slow for users and get bad results on PageScore.

Perhaps it's something we can suggest to @Chris D and his team to create "xs or xxs" versions of attachments like with avatars.

Yeah it's required. XP Improvements is free though, so it's still just one purchase.

This was suggested 5 years ago but closed due to lack of interest. I'll just paste the original suggestion here: Currently XenForo uses CSS to resize images to fit the viewing window. This doesn't change the file size of the image and is not a great solution for mobile. I would love to see...

Literally, via CSS. It's the newest members widget inside the forum statistics widget with a dash of css.

MUCH better. Has a modern look and feel that was taken away before, felt dated by that action.

No addon was used. It’s an article forum type with customisations.

Thank you. There are number of steps that I took to help improve my page speed. When I do get the opportunity to do so, I will share a guide on here or on my upcoming admin forum.
