A couple of things

renaming admin.php file

in vb we use to rename the admin directory and define in config $config['Misc']['admincpdir'] =
XF doesnt have an admin directory, if we rename admin.php file, how do u define this in XF config file


Install folder
If rename install folder, the file health checker goes crazy warning missing files, does this have to stay?

There’s no need to rename either of them.

The install directory is password protected already.

A common approach is to secure them both with a password.

Protecting admin.php, the /install directory, and test & development installations using .htaccess
