Thank you for spelling Two-nee more correctly than most Candians I know! A "Loonie" is named such because there is a Loon engraved on the coin. The two-dollar coin does not, so spelling it as "Toonie", like most do, though clever, makes little sense. Glad to see a fellow NOVA SCOTIAN who has an actual brain!

By the way, how'd your visit from Earl go? We had higher winds than usual, but we've had worse in non-hurricane weather; and heavy rain for only a couple hours. No damage or power loss.
