XF 1.3 From VB to Xenforo... What to do with html in posts?

So I just imported a very large forum from VB to Xenforo. Many of the imported posts had HTML in the content. Of course, Xenforo doesn't allow HTML.

I'm cool with not allowing html in any future posts, however is would like these old posts to still have working HTML. Anything I can do?

Is most of the HTML styling or embeds or what? The YouTube embeds can be replaced and in the same respect some of the styling could be automatically stripped.

HTML in posts has always been a bad idea just due to potential security and end user safety issues. But the convenience of embeds as well as extending styling beyond a boards stock bb code has some desire. Still taking my users awhile to realize all they gave to do is link a video now.

Most of it is image embeds. I don't care to give user the ability now or in the future. I just want the old embeds to work.
