Cannot reproduce Froala without drag and drop (Quick post/reply only)

I cannot manage to get drag and drop to work from on two communities, one is here. It creates a red NO sign (đźš«) when it's dragged and dropped from a file explorer.

The other forum is running Xenforo 2.2.6 p2.

Running: Chrome Version 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10. Another user reported the same issue in Brave browser but am unsure of the OS and cannot reproduce that.

Edit: It allows it sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't allow it. I'm trying to replicate how it allowed me to do it just now.

Found out how I could reproduce a drag and drop:

I can drag and drop an image from any browser tab into the Xenforo tab/editor box. This includes the present tab (Xenforo) where I can drag and drop my avatar if I mouse-down hold it and insert it into the editor.

From file explorer, it does not work though.

This is not something I can currently reproduce using Windows 10 and the same Chrome version.

If you have any more information that might help we'll take a closer look.
