Eventually I would like to include a unique link for each user then the user registering with that link would be attributed to the referral.

Chris can you include some screenshots or more instructions please as I logged into http://xenmediagallery.com/forums as suggested and associated my facebook account and then logged out and logged back in with my facebook account and... nothing happened and I can't see where to invite my friends.

A tiny bug,
When I am trying to invite through facebook, it wont show the message content from:

admin.php?options/list/friendInviter

Any idea why?

Are you sure?

The text you enter in the options is not automatically inserted into the message. Instead, it's inserted into the caption:



Notice below "xenmediagallery.com" it has the default text from the Admin CP.

The reason for this, is because Facebook does not allow the message to be pre-populated. The whole idea of it is the Facebook user must send the message THEY want to send, not one that's pre-filled in.

It works for you but for me it simply shows the forum Title (instead of: For facebook you need to write etc etc)

It also shows instead of styles/core/xenforo/logo.og.png, some avatar of a member

And I can't see the "Facebook Post Caption"

Including things like this in other templates requires quite a lot of programming work to take place. It won't be possible to do, unfortunately.
