P Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Oct 10, 2019 #5 You can use this: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xf1-cleanup-command.6133/ Or just download and unzip the XF2 archive and compare the directories and files. Upvote 0 Downvote

TickTackk Well-known member Oct 10, 2019 #7 Go to the directory where you've installed XF 1 which should look something like this Download everything from the installation directory to a secure location just in case you need to restore those files again for any reason Go to the XF customer area and download the latest XF 2 release along with any official add-ons that you have purchased and want to use Extract the contents of every archive you downloaded in the previous step to a temporary directory Delete all the old files from XF installation Upload the contents of upload directory from every archive you downloaded to the installation directory Create a new user and database for your XF 2 installation Go to your site and you should see the message to do a clean installation and make sure to use the freshly created database Upvote 0 Downvote
