Not a bug  Forum Statistics: 'Members' is showing wrong.

Hey all,

Now, in the forum statistics is standing:

It says there are 969 members, but if you look at Reagormedia's profile number, it is 1000.

Is this a bug or is this something that's supposed to be? :)
 
It is not 31 deleted users but 31 deleted OR unverified users...

The member count doesn't count unverified users, or those who are banned.

Yep, I believe it's this.

That was something a lot of people wished vBulletin did; count users ho were actually verified, not simply signed up. So while a lot of people signed up their accounts were counted even though they did not activate their account, and some administrators pruned users with 0 posts or who never verified their email.

It gives you a more true number. :)

excellent, never liked spam accounts being counted
 
I though the distinction between number of users and user number was standard.
phpBB does it exactly the same way (unverified users aren't counted), surprised to hear that vB doesn't.
 
Ban or delete?
Temp ban or permanent* ban?

*Permanent in the sense that the ban remains in place until it is lifted.
