XF 2.2 Forum staff only

I haven't opened my forum yet but I would like it to be visible only to the staff.
How can I do? If the staff login they don't see the forum, only I see it as administrator.

You can password-protect your forum folder on the server side, add access to your staff members to that folder and they will see the forum.

You can set the permissions to specific groups. This way, only those in the group can see that particular forum.

Do you have regular members yet? If no, set unregistered to no to see forum permission.

If you have regular members set registered members to no and then moderator permission to yes

Hiding can also be done via the permissions, the way @cdub explained. The View Forum permission if I remember correctly.

Yes you can go into node permissions if you just want to hide one node or regular permissions if you want to hide EVERYTHING
