XF 2.1 Forum is slow

My forum is slow because of the ads
I know! Beside removing it, what could be done?

Con il pareggio all'80% ci basta un altro pareggio con l'empoli per qualificarci. Sarebbe molto importante venir via con almeno un punto. preferisco il 100% con i 3 punti grazie. Non ho voglia di un 5 maggio versione champions

PageSpeed testing its so stupid, that not help you to improve site speed, you need new hosting package or buy media gallery for images and follow instruction for image resize, also google ads are very bad for any forum.

Also recomended LiteSpeed Web Server for larger forums

I can not really help with that, but I do not have the time.
Optimize your MySQL setting (my.cnf?) for InnoDB. Ensure adequate memory (~ 32GB), use SSD hard drive and a fast processor. Then, if all fits, follow the instructions that pagespeed gives you. Do not use ADs on the startpage of your forum. Do not use the forum view as start page (...)

Are you entirely sure about that? I'd be pretty amazed to see anything 80+ for mobile on a website with Google Ads.

Believe me, it does ;)

They do measure each page individually and even file reports if certain pages are slow - every page needs to be fast, not just the homepage (which, in forums, usually does not get that much traffic).

Sorry for OT, will go back to being silent now.

Overall you're loading 2MB on browsers, with 181 requests served. That's not terrible bloat, but it does account for some of your performance issue. But it looks to me like you have a slow responding db as well. Fix all of the above then do some more testing, here. WebPageTest.
