Forum emails being identified as promotions by Gmail

Hi all,

It has come to my attention that as of recent, any emails sent from my board are being identified as promotional emails by Gmail. This means that they do not appear in the main inbox and also means that my users don't receive a push notification upon receiving an email.

I am not sure why this has only recently started happening, and I don't really know what I can do to fix this.

Any support would be highly appreciated.

Google's algorithm is also tagging my confirmation emails as promotional.

Strange, they should show up under the "updates" category normally, I would think.
