XF 1.2 Forum Alerts Via Text Message?

So one of my heavy mobile users brought this up as an idea. Admittedly, it seems a bit ridiculous to me, but they check email much less frequently than their texts. Would something like this be possible?

With an addon it would be possible.

I know theres an addon that makes it so that the site calls you or texts you a code before you can finish registering, so forum integration with phones is already possible on that front. You'd just have to find someone to make it.

It would be quite easy with an add-on but would utilize a lot of money since any reliable system is a paid product. I utilize Twilio for an application I wrote, and it wouldn't be hard to integrate it into XenForo.
