We are trying to setup our first Xenforo forums site and its proving to be very difficult. We've searched for solutions to these three problems but so far haven't found an answer. Site is www.talkingevs.com.

1) We need to display in the footer some text about our own Copyright and a disclaimer. We tried looking in appearance and tried adding to the copyright sections but nothing changes. Also tried to edit the template file but that didnt work either. Any ideas?

2) The main forums hides the sub forums as 'child.' We wish to have them listed in two columns under the parent forums. How do we do this?

3) We want the homepage to be an articles layout with articles from us. Then the forums will be linked in the navigation. How do we accomplish this? Forums and Home go to the forums.

Solution
Edit the phrase extra_copyright to add your own copyright text.

There is an option in the style properties to show sub forums on the forum index.
You may need to use custom CSS to have them displayed how you want.

You can set a specific forum as an articles forum and set that as the index page route.
That is done in the node settings and option settings.

Thank you. Coming from PHPbb this is quite a bit more complicated but there is sooooo much more functionality.
