Adding a link to your forum on styles you create, do you put it there or edit a template still?

Adding a link to your forum on styles you create, do you put it there or edit a template still?

You're not able to add links with the properties They are only for the styling!
You still have to edit the template OR use the template hooks

Okay, that's what I did and then I saw something about the footer being expanded in the footer properties so I asked. Thanks.
