Interesting idea :D

Might try that!

That is just not fair. :( Here I am at 1:30am slightly hungry and this pops up!

Still, that looks delicious and I almost feel bad thinking I'd scarf that down in the blink of an eye. Almost. :p

Tonight was a college night, which means Takeaway night! :D

Tonight we will be having an Indian. I have opted for a chicken tikka dupiaza. I will post photos once it has arrived! :D

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

What fruit are the green slices, Kim?

The green fruit is Kiwi fruit Saeed :)

Sounds yummy! I often find take away curries to be very oily though, I hope yours isn't!!!

There's a Indian market across the street from one of my bakeries, and another one down the street from my dentist. Both of them have really good non-oily curries (y).

Your breakfast taco looks yummy iTuN3r!

I did a bit of baking over the weekend...

Also made an Apple Crumble Tart (haven't taken a photo yet, might try to later)

Last night, we decided on Italian, calamari with a fresh tomato, basil, leek sauce, cooked very simply. We purchased whole small squids, and the Hubster gutted and cleaned them, then I skinned them and cut them up, then made a simple Italian sauce with a sauteed leek, 3 cloves of garlic and 5 fresh tomatoes, reduced to a paste like consistency, seasoned, then the calamari was very quickly seared in a hot wok, and added to the sauce, and allowed to simmer for a few seconds, before I turned it off and added some fresh basil leaves.

As we had been standing in the kitchen, drinking lovely Pinot Grigio wine and talking whilst we cooked, we decided to just dig in straight from the pan! :D It was brilliant! Scooped up the calamari on lovely sourdough bread! mmmmmmmm

For dessert, some of the Apple Crumble tart I made a few days ago.

Then for lunch today Bruschetta!... some left over calamari, on toasted Sourdough, topped with fresh basil.

Think I overcooked the bacon, we don't normally have this type, and I baked it, as I had read that is a good way to cook American style bacon... it was still pretty yummy though!

If you're baking it you start from a cold oven at 400 degrees for 15-25 minutes.

I also do some grilled bacon sometimes too (y).

Yeah it was probably in a hot oven for about 40 mins in total, I actually turned it off at about 30 mins but the retained heat kept on cooking it.

Still it was edible :p
