This is the recipe I use: http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/516583

It's really quite simple once you have all the ingredients. At step 6, instead of pouring away the duck fat, I remove the duck breasts from the pan, throw in some par-boiled and par-roasted potatoes and toss them in the fat, then roast the potatoes for the remaining time it takes to do the glaze and rest the duck.
Thank you for this...

I just made some slow cooked glazed fried chicken yesterday and after making some mash with some fresh russet spuds (scrubbed skins included) and proceeded to add some of the gooey oil with the crispy tidbits of chicken that had separated from the legs in place of adding the butter I usually use to potatoes. No salt.

For a treat ... a chocolate milkshape

I was too lazy to plate it and the image was too big...a half shot will suffice... tasted great though

Wish I could have shared a bite with everyone it was so tasty I don't think words I can muster can quite do this meal justice.

Right now... about to eat some cider doughnut's that are coated in sugar (so bad yet so good) or a piece of some farm fresh apple pie

<!--A food based factoid
Connecticut has some hearty apples that grow extremely well here...not quite the variety of Kazakhstan where the seeds of the USA's most mass produced varieties come from, but our varieties have slightly changed over time in their genes through natural selection, though the modern methods of apple farming hinder that development as they tend to grow from clones.
This can be good and bad. Controlled flavor and textures vs possible crop failure due to all plants having the same exact genetic sequencing and if one suffers a demise due to disease genes related then they all do.
end factoid-->

My two favorite places for things apple related
- http://www.rogersorchards.com/bakery.html This is where the doughnuts and pie are from this time

Dude a decent sleep regime is a requirement of consumption ;)

I could have sworn I posted in here before I went to bed LOL .. OK

Pesto Bread..... you need pesto (homemade is best, but if you CBA, just buy some) and some pizza/bread dough.

My homemade Pesto

roll out bread dough thinly, and spread the pesto over, then fold in thirds so the pesto is all covered by dough.

Let it raise again for say 10 minutes - then cook in a very hot oven until done.

I like the color, pesto sounds great, homemade anything even better than that. For the non seafood eater (myself) I would simply replace the fish with chicken for a marsala type of concoction. I like this meal +5 to you. :-)

Thank you and me too but haven't even begun to think about food yet; I woke up late to the doorbell ringing. Thinking something grilled today...don't know what though yet. I'll be back shortly with some ideas or a pic.
