Food Fantasia

I agree home cooking is way more delicious then fast food. However i know myself. If i enter kitchen and start cooking , end scenario is pretty clear : Kitchen in huge mess , food is burned . Unfortunately cooking and me should stay separate. I am great on BBQ though but it requires a different expertise :D
speaking of grilling things...

here's what i'm eating right now... homemade sausage, it's kinda spicy ... makes you wanna say atssamatta fo you.

Keep them hot and PM me your address please :D

LMAO ... I would most definitely I still believe in hospitality but that's some shelf life for a sausage :)

as a side joke.. aren't you in turkey and isn't that bordered by grease , I would think you could come up with a meal somewhere over there:p

Tell you what... if your ever in Italy and you need a bite shoot me a line, I'll call up the fam and let them know your stopping by. :)

Mmm BBQ.. I adore food cooked on the Barby (as we would say down here :p ) Somehow it makes everything taste sooo much better!

Those sausages look great, I love a spicy!

My Hubby is great on the Barby! We are heading into BBQ weather, which will be for about the next 9 months :p

It's a jerk seasoning made with garlic, cayenne pepper, dried onions, black pepper, celery, coriander, paprika, sage, pimento, cinnamon and thyme all blitzed together and dried.

What's a "jerk seasoning" ???? One of these days I'll work out how to use google....

LOL thanks Dereck! :p

Last night we had people over, and I wanted to do something super easy so I could enjoy their company and not be sweating it out in the kitchen. So we bought a couple of Chickens, cut them into 1/4's and rubbed in EVOO and some fresh thyme and a little bit of spices, then bunged in the oven along with some Royal Blue potatoes cut in half lengthwise, and after about 30 mins I also bunged in a tray of Veggies roast Italian style... let them do their thing for about another 30 mins then onto big platters , and threw a salad together for everyone to just help themselves!

Got to love a meal that cooks it's self whilst you enjoy a few Champers and some great company!

LOL, you could make that yourself :p it isn't hard. But sure, if we visit Canada we'll swing by and cook you dinner :D

I was well overdue a decent breakfast sandwich, so the other day I made a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich. Here's a photo of everything cooking in the pan, and then the "food porn" moment when the egg burst...

LOL re money shot :p

Looks good Darfuria, not that I like runny eggs, but my hubby loves them exactly like that!

Well, Sunday.. Father's Day :) Was a great day, spent the day with my Family and dear Pater of course :p

Hubby got a new Cheese knife set for Father's Day from the Kid... so we had to give it a whirl tonight. Suited me - I don't usually cook anything much on Sunday night, and we had had lunch, and he is a big fan of the cheeseboard.. so it was a win all round.. I think the Kid has inherited the Cheese thing, he ate a huge amount of it lol!

You have some great cheeses there. And the side dishes... yum! My wife has requested that I stop watching this thread, though. :p

Yeah it was pretty yummy, I love food you can just pick and nibble on!

You could always start making some of these things as a treat for your wife :D

Nothing too hard about anything in this whole thread, and the cheeseplatter above seriously couldn't be easier :p .. just go to a good deli and you're done :D
