Browser issue  Flash Uploader broken on Chrome 9.0.597.19 Beta

Any file that I upload using Chrome 9.0.597.19 Beta (using the flash uploader) gets rejected stating that the file was empty. I've been using this build for quite a while and had uploaded attachments successfully, earlier; so I don't know why it's acting strange today (2011?).

Internet Explorer 8:
ie8_js_debug.webp

Chrome 8 Stable:
chrome8_js_debug.webp

Chrome 9 Beta:
chrome9_js_debug.webp

Another regression in Chrome itself? or a problem with SWFUpload?

Google Chrome has been having issues as of late in both development and beta builds with flash scripts. I'm not sure why, but they seem to crash frequently.

same here. i have to use firefox to upload through services relying on flash for file uploads.

a recent edition had a version of flash that was sandboxed and was not able to access system folders (my documents for example).

No problem with 9.0.597.19 Beta using SWFUpload here.
That's strange. Chrome 9 just refused to let me upload any file (because numQueued was always 0). Cleaned the cache, tried it on my local instance, tried it on xenforo.com, restarted the browser and the computer as well.

I've downgraded to the stable 8 version for now; and it's working fine.
