XF 2.3 Finding new registrations awaiting enablement

DetroitYES!

New member
Greetings all, switching my forums over from vBulletin to XF, so please be patient if I repeat previously-asked question as I go through the learning curve.

I have my new registrations admission set to Enable manual approval.

Is there some shortcut to find the new registrants awaiting enablement? The best I can figure so far is to search users and filter by join date to find the newbies, which is awkward. TIA

Is your account set up as a mod/admin with Approve / reject users permissions?

The approval queue is in the top bar

Code:
https://your-domain-name.com/approval-queue/

Aha, I see it now. Thanks you very much. I now see the Approval Queue appear, but curiously only in the forum view, not in the admin view.

Follow up question... I made a test registration, received the confirmation email, clicked the link in the email, which took me to the forum, where I was informed the "registration is now complete".

Since I have things set to Enable manual registration, and the registration is only fully complete after I admit the new registration, that response is somewhat inaccurate. Do I have something set up incorrectly or do I just need to edit/add to that response to read something like "your registration is queued for final review by the moderators" etc.
TIA

That's how XF is designed and I can see why as it's a mod function rather than admin.
I can see why too. Personally I think this is a very neat way of handling that because your moderators can help with sorting through users who are waiting approval without needing access to the admin panel.
